Staff Establishment

 

Suggestions, or links to other websites, with suggested ways to document the numbers of maternity and neonatal staff - both actual and ideal in a way which allows the easy annual reporting.

 

In particular It is vital that only those midwives who are practicing midwives should be included an any “staff/workload” ratios. Midwives who are now fulfilling a totally different role such as working full time doing screening or scanning should NOT be included in “staff/patient” ratios.
